Hot wax or strip wax?
Both remove hair from the root. The difference is how the wax grips and comes away.
Strip wax
A thin layer of warm wax is applied and removed with a cloth strip. It is fast and works well on larger areas such as legs, arms and back.
Leg and arm waxingHot wax
Thicker wax is applied, left to set and then lifted away on its own. It grips short, coarse hair and is often preferred for the face and bikini area.

Bikini line tidies the edges so nothing shows outside your swimwear or underwear. It is the lightest option and a good first wax.
Brazilian removes most of the hair from the front and underneath, usually leaving a small, neat strip at the front.

Brazilian and Hollywood waxes are available with hot wax, which many clients find gentler on this delicate area.

Before and after your wax
- Let it growWax grips best when hair is around 5mm long, roughly two to three weeks after shaving.
- Skip the scrub on the dayExfoliate gently a day or two before, but avoid scrubs, fake tan and heavy creams on the day of your appointment.
- Be gentle afterwardsFor the next 24 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, the gym and sunbeds. After a few days, light exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs.

How much is a Brazilian wax in Woking?
A Brazilian wax is £25, or £30 with hot wax. A Hollywood wax is £30, or £35 with hot wax, and a bikini line wax is £10.
What is the difference between a Brazilian and a Hollywood wax?
A Brazilian removes most of the hair, usually leaving a small strip at the front. A Hollywood removes all of the hair from the bikini area.
How much is a full leg wax?
A full leg wax is £30, three-quarter legs are £20 and half legs are £15. Full legs and arms together are £55.

How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
Around 5mm is ideal, which is usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving.

Does waxing hurt?
